Our World

Our Story

KIVARI was founded in 2014 by Kirstin Keysers known to many as Kiki.

The brand was created from a passion of adventurous travel and connection to our oceans. Known for its distinctive aesthetic of effortless and versatile silhouettes, we consciously create quality pieces with integrity and heart. Utilising natural fibres and alternative manufacturing methods to balance our operations with mother nature.

The KIVARI woman is strong yet feminine. She is adventurous and confident in the way she moves. She expresses herself through clothing that provokes a world of endless possibilities.

Today, KIVARI has 8 boutiques across Australia; Noosa Heads, Byron Bay, Burleigh Heads, Pacific Fair, Bondi, Freshwater, Mosman and Miranda, a successful online website and an impressive list of luxury doors around the globe.

As a nomadic spirit, Kiki’s life has, in many ways, been defined by her travels and connection to ‘place’. She has adventured to beautiful places that have left their imprint on who she has become as a woman. In particular though, her connection to the sea.

Our Mission

Our Mission

At KIVARI we see sustainability as an opportunity, not a challenge. It’s our chance to build a brighter future and inspire our community to do the same. We strive to consciously create beautiful pieces, seeking out the best alternatives to balance our operations with mother nature. Our commitment to you is that we’ll always be honest about our journey, from our design process and the materials we use, to our supply chain and packaging. We will continually drive our progress forward towards sustainability, circularity, inclusivity & transparency.

Our People

KIVARI HQ is located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches on Gadigal land. Our team consists of 23 strong, independent women, made up of mothers, best friends, sisters, daughters and community leaders. Our core values of integrity, courage, passion and community make our tribe of creatives unstoppable.

As a fashion label, we know our impact on the environment hasn’t always been a positive one, but we are committed to continuously looking for ways to minimise our footprint. Which is why we created an inhouse sustainability role at HQ so that along with the basics, like recycling and using KeepCups, we’re consistently making changes that really matter.

From looking at how we can be more eco-conscious at HQ to our supply chain, the life cycle of our garments, design process and our transparency with customers (because you’re part of our journey too), our sustainability manager is our pledge to better look after the world we live in.
