Senior Print & Textile Designer

About You: We are looking for a Senior Print & Textiles Designer with a minimum of 8 years’ industry experience and a strong understanding of the print development process. In this role, you will support the sustainable growth of the brand, ensuring the KIVARI customer remains at the heart of everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work in close collaboration with the Creative Director and Head Designer to lead the seasonal print design direction in line with the brands vision.

· Create new textile print designs for seasonal collections and QTM capsules

· Conduct seasonal print research and present current and future print trends for consideration

· Work closely with the Product Development manager and product developers to ensure there is a clear handover within emails and tech packs of any specialised print and boarder placement onto garments

· Prepare designs for production repeat, create colour ways, colour separations, colour matching, and engineered prints for garments

· Manage and guide and collaborate the Junior textile Designer on print output

· Manage and maintain tracking files for all prints from strike off through to bulk approvals

· Work with external designers on specialised print projects/collaborations

· Communicate with offshore factories for all printed and textile design fabrics

Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design or other equivalent industry qualifications

· Ability to draw, paint and illustrate designs

· Competency in Photoshop/Illustrator and other relevant design packages

· Ability to plan and execute your work efficiently

· Ability to work to deadlines

· Exceptional time management and organisational skills
