• Own and enhance internal communication frameworks - ensuring business updates, cultural moments, and operational changes are communicated with clarity, transparency, and integrity.

Training & Development

• Design and implement training programs to enhance skills, performance, and leadership development across all teams.

• Build a learning culture that fosters growth, engagement, and career progression.

• Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.

Talent Management & Employee Engagement

• Lead thoughtful recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies that bring top-tier talent into the business and set them up for long-term success.

• Drive a performance culture through coaching initiatives, robust goal setting, development planning, and succession conversations.

• Design and implement people initiatives that strengthen engagement, foster inclusion, and reflect our purpose-led, values-driven culture.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure recruitment and talent strategies are scalable and aligned across Retail and Head Office.

• Lead the coordination of cultural events, company rituals, and programs that reflect and reinforce what it means to be part of KIVARI.

Operational HR & Compliance

• Oversee HR policy development and execution, ensuring it’s compliant, scalable, and consistent with company culture and tone.

• Manage sensitive ER (employee relations) matters - including performance concerns, conflict resolution, grievances, and investigations - with fairness, discretion, and empathy.

• Maintain HR systems and provide accurate and insightful reporting around workforce planning, turnover, engagement, compliance, and people analytics.

• Continually review and improve operational HR processes to support a growing, multi-location team.
