“It feels like KIVARI has come full circle and back to its roots again” - Founder, Kiki

An Ode to KIVARI’s History

Nearly a decade ago, Kiki founded KIVARI after embarking on a trip to the beautiful island of Indonesia. During this trip she was inspired to start designing and in turn, began selling handmade leather accessories at the Burleigh Heads Village Markets. The origins of the brand make the latest KIVARI leather accessories range extremely special, with the collection paying homage to the brand's DNA and rich history. Drawing inspiration from the original KIVARI leather pieces, the collection is infused with certain details and materials that nostalgically reference where the brand began. Gold hardware, studs, fringing, tassels, adjustable leather straps and drawstring closures are features of the original KIVARI leather accessories that have been re-imagined to breathe new life into the latest collection.

“These small details add a touch of nostalgia, paying homage to the original designs that started it all”

Behind the Designs

Encompassing clutch, shoulder, cross-body and tote styles, the collection offers a carefully curated range of transeasonal designs to meet various styling needs. Crafted from a blend of leather, suede, cotton and raffia materials, with finishes ranging from suede to waxed and matte leather, every piece exudes a distinct charm. Each style boasts unique details such as gold-plated brass metal hardware, metallic zips, tassels and embossed branding adding subtle accents to each piece. The neutral and pastel colour scheme chosen for the collection underpins its versatility, ensuring that these accessories seamlessly integrate into wardrobes and elevate styling. Whether paired with neutral tones, vibrant hues, or patterned statement pieces, the KIVARI leather accessories effortlessly complement any style.

“One feature that I absolutely adore is the embossed icon which was recently redesigned to reflect the brand's evolution, this is a subtle yet powerful element that truly embodies the essence of KIVARI.”

“The origins of the brand have truly shaped the latest collection, a leather accessories range that holds a very special place in my heart and in the DNA of KIVARI”- Founder Kiki
